This quick tutorial will guide you through the steps on wiring the GeniSys Control for Boilers and Furnaces.

Color-Coded Wiring

L1/Limit Jumper

  • For A and B model GeniSys controls that don’t use motor-off delay (postpurge), the L1 and Limit terminals must be jumpered
  • L1/Limit jumper is supplied with the control

Typical Boiler Wiring – No delays (purge)

Typical Boiler Wiring – Valve-On Delay (prepurge) only

Typical Boiler Wiring – Valve-On Delay and Motor-Off Delay

Note: No L1/Limit jumper

  • L1 to continuous 120Vac from appliance
  • Limit to 120 Vac burner start wire (from limit circuit)

Typical Furnace Wiring – No delays (purge)

Typical Furnace Wiring – Valve-On Delay (prepurge) only

Typical Furnace Wiring – Valve-On Delay and Motor-Off Delay

Note: No L1/Limit jumper

  • L1 to continuous 120 Vac from appliance
